Factory Workshops

Matton operates integrated manufacturing workshops in Zhucheng, Shandong, designed to support efficient, export-grade production of freeze dryers, retort systems and complete food processing lines. Our factory layout follows a streamlined workflow — from raw material preparation to final assembly and testing — enabling consistent quality, shorter lead times and scalable OEM customization.

Fabrication & machining workshops

Our fabrication workshops are equipped for precision cutting, forming and machining of pressure vessels, chambers and structural frames. Processes include CNC machining, laser/plasma cutting, rolling and forming, with strict control of tolerances and surface finishes. Material traceability is maintained throughout production, supporting international quality and compliance requirements.

Welding & surface treatment

Dedicated welding areas follow qualified welding procedures and documented weld records. Depending on project requirements, we apply sanitary welding for food-contact equipment and corrosion-resistant surface treatments. Post-weld inspections and finishing ensure durability, cleanability and long-term operational reliability.

Assembly & integration

In the assembly workshops, freeze dryers, retorts, IQF freezers and auxiliary machines are integrated with refrigeration systems, control panels and automation components. Our engineers assemble ammonia and CO₂ refrigeration systems according to safety and performance standards, ensuring stable operation, energy efficiency and ease of maintenance.

Electrical & control systems

Electrical workshops focus on PLC programming, HMI configuration and system integration. Each unit undergoes functional checks, electrical safety testing and control logic verification to confirm accurate temperature control, pressure regulation and automated process repeatability.

Testing, FAT & pre-shipment inspection

Before delivery, equipment is transferred to dedicated testing areas for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Performance trials, pressure testing, leak detection and simulated production runs are conducted and documented. Inspection photos, test reports and as-built documentation are prepared for customer review prior to shipment.

Capacity, customization & OEM support

Our workshops are designed to handle pilot-scale units through large industrial systems, supporting OEM customization, private labeling and turnkey project delivery. With in-house manufacturing, testing and export packaging, Matton provides reliable lead times and consistent quality for global customers.
